AREN'T YOU GLAD?

Aren't you glad that winter's here?
And Christmas will be soon?
Aren't you glad when Mother bakes,
And good smells fill the room?

Aren't you glad to see the tree,
With lights that blink and glow?
And don't your fingers kinda itch,
As the pile of presents grow?

I'm glad to know it's Christmas time,
And I would like to say,
I only wish, it all would last,
Long after Christmas Day.
