NEW LIFE

As winter wanes, and spring draws near,
And the earth is born again,
I seem to reach for inner strength,
As the flowers reach for rain.

I think of Easter, and I know,
The earth will soon be green,
And I know without a single doubt,
New life will soon be seen.

I know that summer will not last,
But I also know it's true,
Since Jesus died and rose again,
There's life for me and you.
