NOBODY KNOWS

I'll just take one; it won't be missed,
A Junior said one day,
As he took an apple from the store,
And quickly ran away,
But the eyes of God are watching,
The great; and yes; the small,
For the Bible says He even sees,
The tiny sparrow fall.

One show won't hurt; I'm sure of that,
And mother needn't know,
But Mother always finds you out,
And you know you shouldn't go,
For she has gone to God in prayer,
And He has heard her cry,
Now He is speaking to your heart,
Oh child; don't pass Him by.

Nobody knows the shame I hide,
For I have left my home,
A young girl standing in a crowd,
Felt she was all alone,
But Jesus knew; and the Father knew,
What it was all about,
Because the Bible clearly states,
That sin will find you out.

Who's going to know if I take one drink,
A young man said one day,
But he could not stop at just one drink,
For Satan had his way,
His loved ones knew; and so did he,
And God the Father knew,
But he would not bow a humble knee,
Now he is lost. Are you?

Who's going to know if I tell a lie?
For no one cares for me,
If I can not gain by the truth,
Then a liar I will be,
But someone cares; my guilty friend,
My Lord has heard your lies,
But He'll forgive a lying tongue,
And open up your eyes.

Just one small joint; won't hurt; I guess,
A teen aged girl; once said,
But now she's hooked; and can not stop,
Her habit must be fed,
She was looking for another world,
Something not quite real,
But she's lost the power to rationalize,
And she's lost the power to feel.

Who's going to know if I cheat to-day?
I heard a young man say,
I'll tell you friend; who's going to know,
Your friends who've heard you pray,
And they are not the only ones,
Who love and care for you,
The Father sitting on the throne,
He knows, you've cheated too.

Nobody knows nobody cares,
Said a prisoner in his cell,
I killed a man in jealous rage,
Now I must go to hell,
Somebody cares; please don't forget,
He's always within call,
It's Jesus that was crucified,
He cares and loves us all.
