SOMETIMES

Sometimes I think about my past,
So many years in sin,
But when I met the Savior,
I gave my heart to Him.

Sometimes I set and think about,
What life is meant to be,
Then I recall so many things,
That it has been to me.

Some times a friend may let me down,
One that I thought was true,
But as my Father watches me,
Do I sometimes fail Him too?

Sometimes I know that I have failed,
But when I go in prayer,
And ask to be forgiven,
He always meets me there.

Sometimes my prayers bounce off the wall,
And I don't know what to do,
Then I remember He's the door,
And He will guide me through.

Sometimes I have a day with pain,
Not many, that is true,
For God blessed me with good health,
With friends and family too.

Sometimes I watch your little ones,
As they run and laugh and play,
And I recall my children,
Did Much the same one day.

Sometimes I think of loved ones,
That God has called away,
But I know if I stay true to Him,
I'll see them all some day.

Sometimes I look above the trees,
And watch the clouds drift by,
And I wonder how far heaven is,
And if I'll walk or fly.

Sometimes when I am lonely,
And nobody seems to care,
I open up the Word of God,
And I find comfort there.

Sometimes I see your pretty homes,
And mine just don't compare,
But though it isn't beautiful,
The Lord still meets me there.

Sometimes I wish that I could work,
The way I used to do,
But God gives strength for other things,
That are important too.

Sometimes I watch the sun come up,
To start another day,
And I wonder if threes someone,
I can help along the away.

Sometimes I walk through wooded hills,
Or near a babbling brook,
And I can see God's handwork
Every where I look.

Sometimes I wake up in the night,
And get tired of counting sheep,
Then I start to count my blessings,
And soon I'm fast asleep.

We all have sometimes in our life,
I'm sure that must be true,
But then we know God, is always there,
And watching me and you.
