WHAT TO DO ON EASTER

First Child:

On Easter what are you going to do?
I'm going fishing, my dad is too,
He said, we'd take our lunch and stuff,
And fish all day on Jenner's Bluff,
We'll get up early; break of day
And we'll set and fish, yah, fish all day.

Second Child:

I'm going to see my Uncle Jim,
It's been awhile since I've seen him,
He's got swell horses on his farm,
And he let's me play out in the barn,
He'll let me help to feed the stock,
And in the evening, we'll talk and talk.

Third Child:

We're not going anywhere, I guess,
My cousins bringing my Aunt Bess,
But Mom will cook a lot, and bake,
We'll have baked ham and chocolate cake,
I'll go to the egg hunt in the park,
And stay and play till almost dark.

Fourth Child:

You ought to be ashamed, I'd say,
Not to go to church that day,
I've got new shoes and hat and dress,
The prettiest of all the girls, I guess,
Your folks should go to Church with you.
You ought to go on Christmas too.

Fifth Child:

I'm ashamed of all of you!
You should go to church and love it too,
You should go to sing and learn and pray,
Every Sunday, not just one day,
For Jesus loved us, you and me,
And He gave His life on Calvary,
And now He's watching from above,
He needs our lives, and He wants our love,
Want you to come to church with me,
And learn what Easter love can be.
