Oh, I'm so glad that Jesus came,
That first glad Christmas day,
And I'm so glad He taught and prayed,
Along His pilgrim way.
And I'm so glad,
He chose the twelve,
To preach the Gospel and give hope,
For life in the Beyond.
I'm sorry that He bled and died,
Upon the tree that day,
But we can find forgiveness,
Because He showed the way.
But do you know what thrills my soul?,
What keeps me day by day?,
It's the Holy Spirit that He sent,
When Jesus went away.
