MY LITTLE VALENTINE (KEITH)
I had a "Little Valentine",
Many years ago.
He came to live at Margie's house,
Mid February snow.
He was my first and only "son",
And truly he was "great",
And though I waited quite awhile,
He sure was worth the wait.
But when he grew up just a bit,
It wasn't quite the same,
He'd be embarrassed if I called,
Him by that mushy name.
Then he became "My favorite boy",
For all the rest were girls,
I think sometimes that he was glad,
That God had spared him curls.
He isn't little any more,
He's grown to be a man,
But He'll always be my valentine,
I'm sure you'll understand.
