OH  PARADISE

"Oh Paradise" the one thief cried,
The one at Jesus' right,
"If God had not forgave my sin,
I would not be here to-night".

"My Son, My Son, My Only Son,
I had to turn away,
I could not look upon the sin,
You bore for man that day".

"But as You hung upon the Cross,
I ripped the veil in to,
That all mankind from that day forth,
Could come to Me through You".

I hear the sobs and mournful cries,
Of all that loved His name,
I heard the murmuring, questioning crowd,
And then the Morning Came!
