Our Little Connie
We have a little angel,
With a halo of blond hair,
And though I've never noticed wings,
She's flying everywhere.
We waited oh so many years,
To have another child,
And then the Father heard our prayers,
And sent one sweet and mild.
She's such a little precious thing,
And we spoil her, that is true,
You can't ignore those big blue eyes,
When she sweetly smiles at you.
She's became her sister's shadow,
Where there's one, there's usually two,
No matter where her sister goes,
She thinks she should go too.
She's her Daddy "Little Sweetheart"
And her Grandma's "Tootsie Roll"
She's her sisters "Little Baby"
And her Mommys "Baby Doll"
She's become the sunshine of our lives,
Ever since she flew this way,
And I hope this Little angel,
Will decide she wants to stay.
