WHAT CAN I BRING ?
The Wise-man brought rich gifts of gold,
When Jesus came to earth,
What do I have that I can bring?
To celebrate His birth.
I'll give my heart to Him to-day,
And serve Him at my best,
Then Satan can not trick me,
And my whole life will be blessed.
My mind I'll bring, and then obey.
The Bible truths I've heard,
And Light shall shine upon my way,
If I obey His Word.
I have two hand that I will give,
That I may useful be,
I'll use them for His work on earth,
For He's done so much for me.
My feet I'll give to carry on,
The work He left undone,
And if He calls, I'll go to tell,
His love to everyone.
Two lips I bring to sing His praise,
And tell His love for me,
That I may be a witness true,
Where ever I may be.
I'll bring to Jesus both my eyes,
And see the best in men,
So when I get to Heaven,
I can also look at Him.
And I will give Him both my ears,
And listen to His voice,
And when He calls for workers,
His will, will be my choice.
I'll bring my talents and my dreams,
And lay them at His feet,
Because He knows what's best for me,
And He knows the trials I'll meet.
What to Jesus can I bring?
It's as plain as it can be,
To be my very best for Him,
I must bring all of me.
