WHEN JESUS KNOCKS

When Joseph knocked upon the door,
And asked to come inside.
The Keeper Said, he had no room,
For Joseph and his bride.

The night was long, dark and cold,
They did not have a bed.
But a lowly shelter had been found.
As olden Prophets said.

Sometimes I think how sad it was,
That he was turned away.
Yet often when the Lord comes near,
Men look the other way.

To-day the world is dark and cold.
It's full of hate and sin,
When Jesus Knocked upon my door,
I said “Please, Lord come in”.

Jesus will knock but he can not enter into your heart untill you open the door for Him. The Door has no handle on Jesus' side.
