1. SITTING IN PARK– No knowledge of God at all and no
realization of a need for God.
2. NEED ACTIVATION-- The unbeliever begins to sense for
something bigger in life. A tragic
event or crisis may trigger it.
3. SEARCH FOR INFORMATION- As the need for something
bigger than life is activated,
the unbeliever begins to
search for something to fill
that void. He/She investigates
Christ, maybe not formally
but by watching you and other
Christians in actions.
4. CHANGE IN BELIEFS & ATTITUDES– As the unbeliever
learns about Christ,
his/her feelings toward
Him and the Church
begin to change.
5. PROBLEM RECOGNITION– Prospect begins to realize that
he/she has a problem only God
can solve: SIN.
6. DECISION AND REBIRTH– The person asks Christ into his/her
heart and gives Him permission
to begin working in his/her life.
7. POST-DECISION EVALUATION– The new believer begins to
ask questions about the
decision he/she made for
Christ. " Is it real?" "What
does it mean for my daily
life?"
8. GROWTH– The issue is settled: Christ is given Lordship.
The believer begins to participate in ministry.
