A Song of degrees of David.
BEHOLD, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

2It is like the precious oyntment vpon the head, that ranne downe vpon the beard, euen Aarons beard: that went downe to the skirts of his garments.

3As the dew of Hermon, and as the dewe that descended vpon the mountaines of Zion, for there the Lord commanded the blessing: euen life for euermore.

1 A song of ascents. Of David. How good and how pleasant it is, when brothers dwell together as one!

2 Like fine oil on the head, running down upon the beard, Upon the beard of Aaron, upon the collar of his robe.

3 Like dew of Hermon coming down upon the mountains of Zion. There the LORD has decreed a blessing, life for evermore!

v 1-3 It is still a great blessing for brethren to dwell in unity. David symbolized that to the anointing oil over the shoulders and breastplate uniting Israel.  (and much dew)
