5 Who chose our heritage for us, the glory of Jacob, whom he loves.

6 God has gone up with a shout; the LORD, amid trumpet blasts.

8For God is king over all the earth; sing hymns of praise.

9 God rules over the nations; God sits upon his holy throne.

10 The princes of the peoples assemble with the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God, highly exalted.

GOD REIGNS PSALMS 47 , 48 God is King This God is our God Forever. Zion is the City of God and God is on the Throne. Let the Earth Rejoice.

This Psalm is a song about the Lord, the great King. David called all people of the earth to worship God, which makes this a great Messianic Psalm. During the 1000 year period after the Tribulation, Christ will be present and ruling over all the earth.
